Our goal is simple and ambitious: provide help in anyway possible to those affected by disasters. KeepVolunteering partners with local organizations in each location to build and rehabilitate our communities hit by disasters. 100% of donations are earmarked by each donor, funding relief efforts to those affected by disasters. We partner with individuals, organizations and churches to build the projects, investing in their resources, expertise and acquired knowledge.
KeepVolunteering is a Grassroots effort non-profit, with our 501c3 Status. We operate exclusively for disaster relief purposes. Specifically, we do everything in our power to assist those affected by disasters. Our goal is to connect those with the need to those who can fulfill the need.
When we started KeepVolunteering, we made a bold promise to the general public — 100% of their donations would earmarked specifically as they request. We'd find another way to cover our operating expenses. And we'd even reimburse credit card fees when donations were made online.
We will depend on private donors, foundations and sponsors to cover everything from staff salaries to basic office systems to office rent and supplies, which currently we do not have any salaries or rent. As a donor, your investment would fuel our long-term mission, to continue using 100% of public donations as the public wants us to spend them.
Over time our goal is to develop 5 fleets strategically positioned within a 500 mile radius of Huntsville, Alabama. Appropriate technologies are crucial for providing sustainable solutions. If there were a house fire, 20 people would not be sent in with 5 gallon buckets, the proper equipment would be ready, insuring an immediate and appropriate response.
KeepVolunteering.org is for the community, made up by the community.
KeepVolunteering.org is a part of the Grassroots Volunteers of the Southeast. So you ask us, who are Grassroots Volunteers? They are your congregations, your families, individuals, and the community-based organizations. They are the everyday ordinary Joe’s and Jane’s who have the heart and the resources to help those in need.
KeepVolunteering.org is just another set of hands and feet for those people to plug in where they are needed. KeepVolunteering.org is the "little people" connecting other "little people" that get the job done quickly, with as little red tape as possible.
