Why did KeepVolunteering.org commit to such a daunting task?

We committed to this task because every individual is worth it! In addition to having the desire to bring the community together and boost communication, we believe that every individual deserves to have an opportunity to serve or be served, in return being blessed by the experience as a whole!

Is KeepVolunteering.org a Non-Profit?

Yes! KeepVolunteering is a 501(c)(3) private operating organization that was created in 2011, just after the April 27th Tornadoes.  We operate exclusively for disaster relief purposes. Specifically, we meet the needs of those affected by disasters located within a 500-mile radius of the City of Huntsville and Madison County, Alabama.

Is KeepVolunteering.org affiliated with a church or claim a religion?

Nope!  KeepVolunteering.org is not affiliated with a church.  While KeepVolunteering.org has nothing but the utmost respect, love and admiration for all religions and understands the importance of religion in an individual's life or to an individual, we do not claim a religion.  We claim our Christianity, our personal relationship with God.  We claim that God put every last individual, family, church, and community organization, in the right place, at the right time to make this relief effort come together in full force in order to heal this community from devastation.

Is KeepVolunteering.org government affiliated?

Nope! KeepVolunteering.org is for the community, made up by the community.

Does KeepVolunteering.org work for the government?

Nope! KeepVolunteering.org is for the community, made up by the community.  We work in coordination with other government organizations like EMA, FEMA, etc. to insure that efforts are not being duplicated and the job can be completed as quickly and efficiently as possible.
